Keynote // The hidden roots of agility – Systemic change beyond “the Agile facade”

About the Workshop

Change is not just about new methods, it’s about the deeper, often invisible dynamics that shape teams, organizations, and ecosystems. In this keynote, Paul Takken unpacks the hidden roots of agility, showing how systemic principles from nature and Japanese philosophy offer a more organic and sustainable approach to transformations.
For consultants and coaches working with teams and leaders, agility isn’t just about speed, it’s about flow, adaptability, and the ability to learn and evolve together. Yet, many organizations struggle with efficiency-overkill, silo-thinking, and agile hyperventilation, losing sight of what truly drives change: human connection, systemic awareness, and co-creation.
Paul’s talk and book offers a fresh lens on systemic change, exploring:
  • How organizations can shift from isolated “Agile bubbles” to relational adaptability
  • Why true transformation happens in the space between structure and emergence
  • How nature’s rhythms and systemic intelligence can guide sustainable change
Rather than seeing Agile as a method, Paul will help you recognize it as a living system. Whether you practice Agile daily or not, his keynote hopefully will challenge and inspire you to rethink how change unfolds in the organizations you support.

Although we often understand that this is how it works, it remains a challenge to keep calm and respond differently.

Workshop // Are you a Leader?

About the Workshop

What would happen if YOU saw yourself as a leader? Leadership: a word often associated with managers or people in top positions. Our stance is that leadership is not about titles, but about taking charge and influencing the world around you in a way that honours what matters to you.

We believe that everyone is able to choose to step into leadership. You only need to find your unique way to do this.  In today's complex world, we need everyone to think with us, make decisions and influence with us. But what happens when you don't realize you can choose to step into leadership? Then you let circumstances lead you. Or worse, you may even feel like a victim of your environment. True leadership begins with the recognition that you have influence. We will give you tools to consciously choose to direct and have influence.
